A Border Crisis For American Education

How the illegal immigrant issue is growing into our education system

The progressives appear to have a knack for making a problem worse than it already is. Environmental issue? Propose a bill to completely flip the energy economy into green energy usage and don’t mind any economical issues. Don’t trust the voting system? Well, progressives found the issue: voter IDs are racist and now it’s impossible to check voter eligibility. Poor? Simple solution: stimulus bills and drastically increase inflation rates. The results we see from a progressive-run nation are clear: rising crime and violence, current economic crisis in terms of inflation and interest rates, mask mandates canceling freedom, racism in collegiate education, and the inflamed border.

Inflamed, it is. Since October of last year, nearly half a million illegal immigrants have been encountered by U.S border patrol, according to statistics provided by U.S Customs and Border Protection(CBP). It seems that the Biden Administration has turned a blind eye towards the rise of illegal border crossings. Is Biden really ignoring the illegal immigration situation? Well, clearly not. In fact, Biden and his allies are working towards pushing more and more illegals into America. Policy-wise, Biden is welcoming these illegals coming by the millions through lifting the limit of undocumented allowed in, preventing the U.S border patrol to function properly, and restricting funds to aid border protection. Clearly, Biden is advocating for an open border.

After all, a video leaked has shown the American people of how the Biden Administration deals with illegal immigrants - shipping them on planes to different parts of America. The leaked video appeared on Fox News, where a transcript of the video reveals how the U.S government hires contractors to deal with transporting illegal immigrants through secrecy, away from the eyes of the media and the American people. In other words, the U.S government has voluntarily and secretly taken illegal immigrants at the border and paid independent organizations/corporations to transport the immigrants into deeper parts of America, such as New York, Delaware, and Virginia.

These illegal immigrants that have become displaced by the Biden Administration into the suburbs and cities of America cause more than just crimes, drugs, and economical issues. The deterioration of the American education system caused by illegal immigration has been more than appalling. While CRT and mask mandates can be fought by parents for their children's rights, illegal immigrants cannot be simply pushed back into their original countries. In K-12 education across the U.S, hundreds of thousands of undocumented children are being sent to schools for a cost unimaginable for schools to support such illegals. The price is so high that teachers are in higher demand, not to mention that funding needed to support these children. Free lunch to financially support them, selective education for them to catch up to their peers, and continuous support continuing to college demands funding in the form of taxes and bills. Taxpayers cannot escape the endless payments for such undocumented children, not even school boards.

Along with the current racism in collegiate education that include elite institutions such as Harvard, there is no federal/state law that explicitly states that undocumented students may not legally attend college. This means that, although the current amount of undocumented students enrolled in collegiate education is relativly low, if the Affirmative Action provided by colleges extends further to such students, then the racism issue complicates further. According to Affirmative Action, standards are applied differently across races and skin colors in a specific way. As a result, when undocumented students are introduced to the equation, the standards are once again shifted. What level of preferences are to be given to each of the Asians, African Americans, Hispanics, or Whites? Are Hispanics and African Americans now set to different standards? Since there are those who legally and illegally came, are there levels of being a part of the Hispanic race?

Thus, instead of focusing on criticizing Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s hapless efforts in deploying the National Guard at the border, our politicians need to focus on our domestic problems, of which the education system is most dire. While patriots like Gov. Abbott put themselves into the front lines pushing executive orders here and there to the limit for the support of Texans and their safety, our politicians up north should focus on aiding such efforts so that the National Guard does not have to worry with low morale and pay that have led to suicides, and our educators up north need to wake up in how they are going to deal with undocumented children and students. Because, one thing’s for sure: America’s education system is being polluted and eroded by illegal immigrants.
