Biden's Response

China’s threats, aggression, and actions are worsening by the day. Under Xi Jinping, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has upped animosity against the U.S. and its allies. Beyond military provocation towards Taiwan, the CCP has begun its military technology support for the Russians in the war. Even more recent is the sighting of a Chinese spy balloon flying over the U.S.

China’s actions that are alarming, but the Biden Administration’s lack of defiance against the CCP is just as worrisome. Andrew McCarthy of the National Review wrote a piece exposing the behind-the-scenes of the White House’s response to the spy balloon. McCarthy writes that it was, in fact, the media coverage that forced Biden to eliminate the balloon and cancel Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s China meeting, rather than Biden himself.

Just when politicians and Americans thought Biden freed himself from CCP connections with the pushback on China through economic means, the President went on a “mission to improve China-U.S relations” in the midst of heightened CCP aggression to democratic nations. And, so, to Biden, the spy balloon was simply a hindrance to his mission. What better way than simply ignoring national security concerns!

The destruction of the CCP’s spying weapon is a sigh of relief for Americans, but, for Biden, this means many excuses and apologies for General Secretary Xi Jinping.

The American people have no more confidence in Biden’s ability to deal with China and should be even more scornful of his corrupted dealings with the CCP.

Since 2021, many Republicans' displeasure of Biden’s dealings with China had mellowed out. Many of Biden’s Senate-approved appointments have been surprisingly quite satisfactory given the extremely polarized political climate. One of which was Katherine Tai - the 19th U.S Trade Representative. Tai, backed by Biden, defended the use of tariffs against China - a continuation of the Trump administration’s tariff use on China. The progressive media and many Democrats were taken aback and, yet, the Biden Administration defended the tariffs, even when inflation was used as criticism. Nonetheless, The New York Times decided to publish an article somewhat praising Tai’s work on China. And so it seemed that the Democratic Party had begun to shift its relationship with China gradually under the lead of President Biden.

This was a foolish belief, as Biden proved to be far lenient on the real destruction the CCP caused. The entire Hunter Biden scandal began to unravel. The desperation of the Biden family to reject laptops claims ended with Hunter claiming the laptop - not to mention Hunter demanding the Federal Government begin probing his “enemies”. So now Americans know. Not only do Americans know the negligence of the Biden Administration to protect American interest and national security concerns from the CCP, but they also understand the underlying cause: a corrupt deal between CCP officials and the Biden family.

It does not matter if conservative critics flame Biden or liberal pundits being displeased with Republican efforts in the House attack Hunter Biden’s reputation. This is not a partisan issue at all and demands bipartisan support to thoroughly investigate this corruption case. If China posed no substantial threat towards democratic countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Ukraine, there would be little attention to the Biden Administration’s connections with and handling of the CCP - as there would be greater priorities at hand. However, the CCP stands as the single most dangerous foreign threat for America. The second largest economy and now far stronger and more capable than Russia, China is becoming the new USSR, spreading its influence and connections like wildfire. We cannot let a communist-led nation run rampant in a modern world. If the Biden Administration continues to refuse to fend off the clear threats the CCP poses, then there must be consequences.
